Prom Season 042909

It's that time of year isn't it? Do you remember your prom? Did you enjoy it and have a good time? I went my Junior year but not my Senior year but had a lot of fun because I went with a friend and there was no pressure except to have a good time. LOL. My twin nephews had their first prom this year so I was instructed by my sister to come and take photos :) I swear they are twins but are fraternal so they don't really look alike. And yes Dillon does occasionally smile just not in any prom photos. Some of you may remember that last year he was in a really bad accident over spring break and we were very glad that he had no major injuries. Dustin is the blonde and the youngest of the two. I think they both looked very handsome and I know my sister is very proud.

I had sooooooooooooo much fun with this sketch today. Can you feel my frustration after class? LOL. The past couple days I was unable to really see what to do with this sketch and then today I just "got it" LOL. Ok maybe it was because I was frustrated after leaving school and then happened to look over on my work desk and see this stamp......I couldn't stop laughing. Hope you all enjoy your day! Today our sketch came from Melinda and as soon as I saw it I thought it would make a great masculine card. I had fun with this one and just in case you can't read it....it says "A wise man once said...Follow your dreams except the one you're in your underwear at work. LOL. Here it is almost 8pm and I completely forgot to load my card for Template Tuesday. I'm telling you between school and my son I'm worn out :) Brad has a lot going on right now and so I'm not always keeping everything in the correct slots in my brain. Today our sketch came from Melinda and it's really cool. I turned mine on it's side but this is definitely one I'll be using again. Happy Easter From PPS 040809

Happy Easter! He is risen! Hope you are all having a great day. This wonderful image is from Lindsay at PinkPaperyStudios and I think it's wonderful. I printed it on regular cardstock and colored it with my Copics. I used some fun polkadot papers that Amy sent me from PPS and then embellished with a flower, ribbon and some dots (again from Amy). Man I love those things :)

Wednesday Fun 040809

Another photo from Florida :) this one is at Universal and we had so much fun with Donkey. He told my son hey move out of the way you're in front of the money maker LOL. Then the whole time he was singing "I'm bringing Sexy back"......my daughter was cracking up. The whole crew does such a good job there.

I am so crazy busy trying to catch up from vacation and this is my first week back to school and this semester I have four classes instead of three so I didn't have a lot of time to work ahead. I whipped this one up in about 3 minutes LOL. Oh and this week it's my sketch so I probably should have done more but I just need more time aughghghghghg. Anyone have any tips for getting thru Psychology? LOL. Please visit the other Template Tuesday bloggers!!!!

I'm back! 040609

Welcome back from Florida - we have snow/rain mixes here today. I can't really say the weather was all the great in Florida either though. Lots of rain in the morning and haze/fog throughout the day. No one got any sunburns! I have to show you my favorite picture. Yep it's my favorite one from all the shots I took. We were at a place called Silver Springs in Ocala. My dad used to take us there as kids and I took my husband there two years ago when he and I visited Florida. This year we took the kids as well and it was a very nice break from Universal and all the lines. If you ever get a chance to visit, don't pass it up. It's a wonderful place to learn about alligators and ride the glass bottom boats and see how the spring originates. My family was searching for alligators but what we didn't know was as soon as we got down the bridge there were a ton of them waiting to be fed. We bought the food (1.00 a bag) and fed them. They don't stress out too much there I'll tell ya LOL. The food is a mixture of chicken, vegetables and vitamins seriously looks like poop. Doesn't smell so good either but they sure love it. We had a really good day there. *** I'll be posting tomorrow for Template Tuesday so stay tuned!
