June Bride

I'm not sure but I had this scheduled to post on Saturday and I didn't realize that it didn't post so my apologies. I love her and our challenge was something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. The old is my white cardstock, the new is the digi image and the ribbon was given to me and the blue is the of course the other cardstock. I am loving the new releases from MSB don't you?

Don't you just love a summer wedding? Well MSB sure came out with a pretty Bride. Here is a tiny peek at how I colored her dress. I used the White Copic and gave her dress a tint and then used the wonderful shimmer from MSB to add a hint of sparkle. Stay tuned for Saturday release! Enjoy the rest of your week.

Now that the girls have been released on the MSB blog I can share my card. I really love this line and I'm fairly certain this was patterned just for me LOL. On Sunday I had a friend stop me and say "I see you driving all over the place with your cell phone"....hahahah. Also you know I love her hair! Our sketch this week came from Melinda and I think it's so pretty. I had trouble deciding what to do at first and then it just came together at the last minute. Sometimes they are like that aren't they? LOL. Anyway I hope you get a chance to check out all the Template Tuesday girls blogs....they are all fabulous!

PS - yes I used my fabo copics hahah and this is a MSB image that I cropped in close. I thought she was drawn so pretty that she'd be perfect to use for this.

Home Sweet Home 050109

WELCOME to May! I cannot wait for better and warmer weather. We've had so much cold and rainy days lately that I'm feeling blah. Today is another cloudy day but at least we can hope for no rain until tomorrow. I am looking forward to planting some flowers and putting out the new landscaping stuff but I don't do it until after Mother's Day because that's about when our weather seems to settle down.

I thought this paper was pretty springy with all the flowers so I paired it up with ModernSugarBlvds Our Pretty House which you can find here. They have so many cute images right now including a coffe house, an ice cream shop and the flower shop. Which is your favorite?
